Orange Walnut Waffles with Blueberry Balsamic Syrup

Cooking Instructions

  • Chop walnuts into small pieces. If desired, you can toast them in a dry skillet over low heat for about 15 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the 2 eggs, orange juice, Blood Orange Olive Oil, and Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar together.
  • Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry and stir until combined and moist. The batter should be a little lumpy. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts. Cook waffles according to your waffle iron directions.
  • Add a dollop of whipped cream if desired, and garnish with orange slices. Drizzle the Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar directly over the waffles.

  • 1 Tbsp VS Wild Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 & 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, unbleached
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Pink Himalayan Sea Salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 & 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
